I am on vacation and havent been able to check into the game at all in over a week. It seems that the monk/warrior finally got nerfed for the 105 and under builds. Anyone care enough to let me know what happened. It like the latest gossip while im away on vacation! Thanks guy's and ill see everyone online in like a week!!

And it shows the moronic response of A.Net/NCSoft. Why? Because every other skills scale after 12 ATT, but not Protective Bond. It's now static at -3 whether you have 13 or 2M ATT assigned.

How creative of a solution is this? Seems like an amateur programmers attempt to solve a problem to me!

Solutions like this is why I called A.Net/NCSoft morons.

At least think about the problem and provide a creative solution, instead, of some tangent solution that defies logic to how the rest of the game mechanics work!

Bah, the ones who cried for nerfing will cry again once the ecto/shard prices will rise... when will they learn that the invici-monk build was profitable for everyone?

the skill was nerfed, not the build (or rather not the ability to solo), am soloing UW now with my Mo/W, just heading out to the smite crawler area now, takes a little longer, but still very easy and very do-able, long live invinci-monks

quit crying. Last time i checked, on single build should NOT be able to solo the hardest areas of the game.

Congratulations, you don't have any idea how skill scaling works in Guild Wars!

12 is not an interesting point for skill scaling. Sure, it's as high as you can go without boosts to your attribute levels, but as far as game mechanics are concerned it's just another level, rounded and extrapolated.

The important values for figuring out how a skill scales are its value at level 0, and its value at level 15. Those are the fixed points that the game uses.

If you look at the change to Protective Bond, you'll see that it has a fixed value of 6 energy per hit at level 0 and 3 energy per hit at level 15. This gives you a series of break points - it's reduced to 5 energy at level 3, 4 energy at level 8, 3 energy at level 13, and 2 energy at level 18.

So your post is truly pathetic. You're accusing arena.net of implementing a solution that's inconsistent with other game mechanics, when you yourself don't have any idea whatsoever how said game mechanics work. Protective Bond is now using *exactly* the same scaling as Blood is Power, as well as a few other skills. If you have a problem with the skill nerf, go ahead and say so, but at least get your facts straight first.
